Farewell to Fr. Mark in Lieu of Flowers

Fr. Mark had a unique ability to make us all feel like one family.  While we are not part of his immediate family, I feel like there should be some way we could share in a deeper way in his rite of passage from earth to heaven.

After some thought, prayer and conversation with the family, I would like to invite the faith communities and individuals touched by Fr. Mark to provide for his internment at Oakwood Cemetery in the Veteran Memorial section.  Flowers quickly fade and random donations in sympathy cards are difficult to connect with a specific use.  Providing for his internment is a lasting bond of our love and appreciation that rekindles our sense of family whenever we recall Fr. Mark’s effect in our lives.
